Collective Training Team Lead
XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training for Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training for Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training for Divisions and Corps in training environments in Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).
HOW THE COLLECTIVE TRAINING TEAM LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Supervises training support and ELM contributions.
The Team Lead supervises the delivery of Collective Training based on unit training objectives and capability requirements
Executes Event / Exercise lifecycle management (planning, preparation, execution and recovery, AAR)
Supports 3 types of events: Small Events with C2IS and Games for Training, Medium Events for BDE and Below with C2IS, Sim-Stim and EXCON, Large Events for Division and Above with C2IS, Sim-Stim and EXCON
Executes the ongoing operations and hands on integration of requisite C2IS and Simulation/Stimulation capabilities within training environments. This includes but is not limited to AFATDS, AIDP, JLCCTC, JLVC, LOTS, MSS, MMC-S, and VBS4
Leads / participates in AARs upon completion of training and presents recommendations for improvements
Submits required training reports on time
Responsible for maintaining accountability of TD Government issued equipment
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required to support customer requirements
Manages Operation Readiness Tests (ORT) for software updates and emergent capabilities.
Coordinates efforts to configure, test, validate and document the integration requirements for C2IS and Simulations capabilities
Provides technical risk mitigation throughout the MTC systems architecture by ensuring compliance with configuration management procedural guidance
Ensures that MTC C2IS and LVC capabilities align with customer requirements
Contributes to the MTCs Training Support Package (TSP).
Develops TSP products that include comprehensive operational procedures for an integrated federation of C2IS and simulation / stimulation systems.
Products include but are not limited to Sequences of Instruction (SOI), Capability Documents (CD), Integration Support Documents (ISD) and Event Lifecycle Management (ELM) materials
Participates in the Professional Development and Certification Program (PDCP).
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education/Experience Requirement: BS/BA Degree
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience
Technical Experience:
Expertise on C2IS and systems integration
Expert knowledge of and experience with Army constructive models and simulations
Knowledge of virtual training simulators, constructive simulations, and with Army Games for Training
Demonstrated experience providing exercise support
Demonstrated experience with military training and training support at the Brigade and below
Demonstrated experience in operations and training requirements at Division or higher level
Security Clearance: Current SECRET required
Required Skills and Ability: Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of military training programs
Location: Fort Bragg, NC. Normal work schedule is 0730-1600, may require night or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements
Travel: May require occasional travel (less than 10%)
