Sr. Sales Consultant, eCommerce/Retail
What Territory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives. The Senior Consultant, eCommerce is responsible for prospecting and developing new business within the payor space while owning and growing a book of business. This role drives eCommerce opportunities through customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and close collaboration with cross-functional internal teams. The Senior Consultant is accountable for meeting and exceeding quota by executing the eCommerce strategy and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes. Responsibilities- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities focused on the payor market
- Own, maintain, and grow a defined book of business, with full accountability for quota attainment
- Drive eCommerce opportunities through customer acquisition and expansion across assigned accounts
- Anticipate customer needs and remain up to date on healthcare, payor, and eCommerce trends
- Act as a trusted consultant to customers by identifying innovative eCommerce solutions that improve efficiency and profitability
- Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Technology, and Finance) to execute the eCommerce growth strategy
- Drive the eCommerce strategy both internally and externally, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs
- Build and grow external partnerships that expand reach and accelerate adoption of eCommerce solutions
- Demonstrate curiosity, resourcefulness, and innovation to continuously identify new growth opportunities
- Track and manage pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure consistent progress toward targets
Qualifications- 812 years of relevant experience, preferred
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Proven experience prospecting, selling, and managing relationships within the payor or healthcare space
- Demonstrated success owning a book of business and consistently achieving or exceeding sales quota
- Strong understanding of eCommerce strategies, digital solutions, and customer acquisition models
