Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine" target="_blank">https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine</a>We are searching for the best talent for Medical Writer I to support one or more of our therapeutic areas (Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Cardiopulmonary) within the Regulatory Medical Writing unit.As a Medical Writer I, within Regulatory Medical Writing, you will join a cohort of medical writers undertaking internal training to author a range of regulatory medical writing documents. The cohort’s target start date is 1 September 2026, and candidates must be available to commence the role at this time.This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week on site. The role can be based in Spring House PA, Titusville PA, or Raritan NJ, United States. Candidates must be located within commutable distance of one of these offices or be willing to self‑relocate within the same country.<h3>Purpose:</h3><ul><li>Learn the regulatory medical writing role and pharmaceutical industry and business.</li><li>Learn to work in a team environment and matrix.</li><li>Learn internal standards, regulatory, and publishing guidelines.</li><li>Learn internal systems, tools, and processes.</li><li>Help to prepare sections of documents and prepare basic documents under supervision.</li><li>Assist with routine tasks per established procedures.</li></ul><h3>You will be responsible for:</h3><ul><li>Prepare components of clinical and regulatory documents and write basic documents such as tables of studies, narratives, protocol amendments, investigator’s brochure updates and addenda under supervision.</li><li>May assist with document QC, abbreviations, references, literature searches, and other tasks.</li><li>Learn how to interpret, summarize, and present statistical and medical information.</li><li>Learn to work in a matrix environment and gain an understanding of the medical writing responsibilities on project teams.</li><li>Attend cross-functional meetings with other writers as appropriate (eg, project kick-off and review meetings).</li><li>Learn and adhere to SOPs, templates, best practices, policies, and Medical Writing Style Guide.</li><li>Regularly meet with manager and mentors and attend departmental meetings.</li></ul>Are you ready to join our team? Then please read further! <h3></h3><h3>Qualifications / Requirements:</h3><ul><li>A university/college degree in a scientific discipline is the minimum requirement, with an advanced degree (eg, Master’s degree, PhD, MD) preferred.</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to understand and summarize scientific data.</li><li>Ability to function in a team environment and to build solid and positive relationships with co-workers.</li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Organizational skills and time management skills.</li><li>Demonstrated learning agility.</li><li>Ability to learn and apply knowledge of regulatory guidance documents such as ICH requirements.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (eg, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li></ul>BenefitsFor United States Applicants:The expected pay range for this position is $64,000 to $102,350.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.<ul><li>Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.</li><li>Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).</li><li>This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
