Position Summary The pursuit of truth in all its dimensions assures the harmony of faith and reason as exemplified through the legacy of Albertus Magnus College. The College's Chief Mission Officer champions and promotes throughout the Albertus community, its mission, Catholic Identity, Dominican tradition, and the College's history by seeking ways to assure the continuation of its rich heritage within all parts of the college community. Through this role, a culture of hospitality will be fostered that is invitational, intentional, and collaborative with all members of the college community.

- Director, Meister Eckhart Center
- Advisory Committee for Dominican Mission and Ministries and Meister Eckhart Center.
Qualifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- To enhance and sustain the Mission, Catholic Identity, Dominican Tradition and heritage of Albertus Magnus College.
- To provide opportunities to explore the Catholic intellectual tradition as the pursuit of truth in all its dimensions.
- To engage Albertus constituencies in on-going orientation and formation programs in the Dominican and Catholic tradition.
- To plan and promote college efforts that promote the pillars of Dominican life - study, prayer, community, and service.
- To foster a welcoming community of hospitality within a diverse college community,
- To continue collaboration with the sponsoring congregation, the Dominican Sisters of Peace, and other Dominican groups who promote Dominican mission and values.
- To provide programs that engage contemporary issues through a Catholic and Dominican lens.
- To strengthen and support the Albertus mission, Catholic Identity, and Dominican tradition across the College's traditional aged and adult learner divisions.
- To ensure that mission permeates the campus culture, planning, and policy development.
- To provide materials that promote the Mission, Catholic Identity, and Dominican Tradition in all areas of Albertus life.
- To provide programs that promote knowledge and understanding of the Mission, Catholic Identity, Dominican Tradition, and history of the college.
- To enhance an environment that will communicate the college's Mission, history, Dominican tradition and Catholic identity.
- To represent the College and its Dominican Mission at events, internal and external.
Qualification:
- Working and academic knowledge of Catholicism and the Dominican Tradition and Charism within higher education.
- Previous related work experience in a Catholic institution.
- Ability to facilitate discussion and programming.
- Ability to create opportunities for diverse groups.
- Ability to create and promote programs to strengthen the Mission, Catholic identity, and Dominican Tradition.
- Ability to collaborate with members of the Albertus community.
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of a master's degree in theology, religious studies, or related field.
Work Schedule Requirements:
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week in a standard office environment.
- Additional Requirements: This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend occasional multi-day meetings.
Benefits at a Glance:
Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. They accrue between 18 and 23 days of paid time off annually. After 90 days of employment, tuition remission is available, with the college covering 100% of tuition costs (employees are responsible for books and technology fees). The college values work-life balance, offering a summer schedule from June through August. Employees also enjoy 14 paid holidays, including a winter break. Retirement plan participation is available from your first day, with employer contributions beginning after one year of service, based on your length of employment.
